In addition to treating patients, Cristi is an active proponent of the complementary medicine she practices.  In February 2006 Cristi volunteered in New Orleans with Acupuncturists Without Borders and now serves as the Secretary of the Board for this service-minded acupuncture organization.  Cristi has taught for Community Education programs, presented at Health Fairs, and done guest lectures at medical facilities and businesses.
